Susan M Omand is a Scottish artist, born and brought up in Aberdeenshire. She now lives and works in Fife, but still makes frequent visits north to the Moray coast to recharge her creative batteries.
From being a hobby painter, to balance a busy career in IT, in 2008 Susan took an opportunity to treat her art more seriously and converted her creative pastimes into a full-time career, setting up Omand Original.
She paints from scratch in a digital medium and enjoys experimenting with strong shapes and colour palettes to create art that often reflects traditional themes while still being strikingly different.
